I love your work! Where are you located?

Thank you! I am located downtown in Gadsden, Alabama at The 215 Studio.

Do you shoot weddings?

No. But I LOVE to refer them out to some great wedding photographers in my area!

How do I book a session with you?

After you have decided to book a session with me, we find a suitable date on the calendar and you pay your session fee (non-refundable) to secure your date.

What happens if I’m sick or have an emergency and can’t make the session on the date we scheduled it for?

You session fees are non-refundable, but by no means are you not able to reschedule. I get it, life happens, and it happens to all of us. I want you distraction free and feeling well for our sessions. I want you to enjoy the process as much as I do.

What is included in my session?

Your session includes complimentary hair and makeup by my in house MUA. When you book a session with me there are three stages:

1) Consultation - We discuss what you’d like to get our of your session, what you’ll wear.

2) Shoot - We spend about an hour in hair and makeup, 1.5 - 2 hours shooting.

3) In person viewing of your gallery. This is typically 2 weeks after your shoot.

How many portraits do I get?

Your gallery typically consist of 20+ images on average.

Do you offer prints or digital images?

I adore printed images. Too often we let photos sit on our computers or in our phones and never get them printed. I only offer prints. My packages are set up to give you the best amount of prints for you personally. I do provide digital copies of the prints you choose for your packages.

What is included in your print packages?

All of my packages come with 7x10 portraits, matted to 11x14. These gorgeous keepsakes come in an incredible windowed leather box that is crafted in Italy. I am IN LOVE with this luxurious way to display your matted prints and keep them safe all at the same time. Some of my packages offer large, mounted prints as well. All prints purchased come with the digital copy of that print that is web-sized for your ease of sharing online.

How should I arrive to my session?

Rested and ready to have an incredible experience! I promise you will warm right up to the camera. You’re in great hands!

My makeup artist prefers to have you in “day old” hair. You can exfoliate your skin and lips 1-2 days prior.

If you have particular makeup you prefer, bring it with you! But we have a selection of makeup that we provide.

What about outfits?

You have up to 3 outfit changes. I have some wardrobe on hand as well. If you see something you like, feel free to wear it!

Can I bring someone with me?

I know just how important a good girlfriend can be in the support department. I allow one additional person to accompany you to your session.

*MINORS are always accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.

What types of sessions do you shoot?

I specialize in portraits for women, and “beauty” and “boudoir”. Beauty for me, is whatever makes you feel beautiful. Boudoir for me, is a little different as it is the level on undress that you decide upon. It can be a body suit, panties, partial nude, nude. That part is up to you. I am here to serve YOU, and make your vision for your session come to fruition.

You can just Photoshop that out, right?

Um, no. I am very skilled at a lot of things, but Photoshop is NOT one of them. I used to shoot only film, so getting things right, in the camera, is super important to me. I’m definitely not computer savvy, and PS is one of those things that I’ve never grasped as well as some of my peers. But never fear! I am GOOD at my job! I love it! I am skilled in posing, using light and shadows to my advantage, putting together a wardrobe that accentuates your positives, and building a connection with you that makes you feel secure and gorgeous. What you WILL get from me is YOU, in your very best light. You’ll be having a good skin day, and look like you’re well rested. Trust me, you’re in good hands.
